[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide website hosting, development and maintenance services.
- Update and develop website as needs arise. Maintain and deliver a best in class, accessible website, with a design framework based on Universal Design Principles. Particular consideration should be given to:
a) usability,
b) the visual display of information,
c) integrating rich content
d) Intuitive website flow. The website should be fully responsive and display optimally across a variety of devices including, but not limited to, desktop computers, tablets and smartphones (including rich media and images).
- The agency requires the yourexperience.ie site (plus development and test version of the site) to be hosted by the successful tenderer. This is required for the duration of the contract (365/24/7).
- The website will need to be current and include any new interactive design coagencyts, as per information provided by the agency team and internal stakeholders. Access will be required by the agency team to enable content and editorial updates. The successful Tenderer will be required to develop, design, and maintain the agency website. The successful Tenderer will be required to conduct continual updates to maintain the website with information provided by the agency team.
- To ensure the best hosting platform is used for yourexperience.ie and advise on new platform, if required. The successful tenderer is responsible for a seamless transition of the old site to new, moving the existing site and data onto the hosting service (if different from our current provider).
- The successful tenderer must manage the handover process from our current supplier with as little interruption in service or performance as possible, and for this handover to be done at a time of low traffic.
- To work with our current website provider to get up-to-speed on the website’s design and structure to facilitate a smooth transition.
- To maintain, support and build an expanded National Care Experience Programme website, working closely with internal stakeholders on the design, information architecture and usability testing. See www.yourexperience.ie for current website.
- Independently audit, on an annual basis, the website in compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines or WCAG 2.1 AA compliance and remedy any issues found in this audit.
- Yourexperience.ie will be expanded to host a minimum of 7 national survey programmes and displays information on each survey including about the survey and survey results.
- To manage the account to ensure successful delivery of the contract deliverables including provision of monthly activity reports, website analysis, status updates on key performance indicators as well as monthly meetings and provision of documentation.  
- Rigorously test the website throughout the contract lifecycle against best practice and standards (WCAG) 2.1 so that all users have a positive experience using the website and can engage fully with it.
- To propose two designs concept for yourexperience.ie homepage to plan for programmes expansion of work to host a minimum 7 survey programmes within our current structures.
- To provide suggestions to improve the structure of information / engagement on webpages (using the frameworks currently in place), including the engagement with reports, publications and or documents. For example, providing a built-in share option to share documents through social media, email and or what’s app.
-  Additionally a minimum of 4 feedback iterations will be required on the selected design concept for the yourexperience.ie homepage until the agency team and agency Governance Groups are satisfied with the design and it passes usability testing and user acceptance testing before any development work begins.
- Carry out a comprehensive usability testing on yourexperience.ie and proposed Information Architecture and agreed design mock-ups to ensure users can easily find the information they are looking for with a view to ensuring that a ‘low click access’ principle shall apply across the website across all platforms and web browsers
- To make structural, content, design and other identified changes to the website as needed throughout each year to accommodate the needs of a minimum of 7 different survey programmes. The website currently accommodates the following but over the term of this contract is expected to change and expand:
i. Home Page
ii. About section which hosts; who we are , news , Podcast, Impact, Information Governance, FAQs, Survey Hub, Publications calendar, Contact us
iii. Individual Survey Pages. There are currently five, in 2024, our survey programmes will expand into Mental Health and Cancer Care and there may be further extensions
