Vendor needs to provide website design and development services using content management solution must be browser and social media.
- Complete re-development and design of the county’s website. The new website should act as a platform for initial contact with the County
- A proven track record of developing government websites that offer an engaging and creative experience for residents and businesses accessing the County website
- Promote community and economic development
- Enhance community image and identity
- Delivery of eGovernment services
- Provide a platform to 24-hour access of County information, forms inquiries and ability to conduct business that would otherwise occur over the phone, email, in person or via regular mail delivery.
- A strong graphic or photographic header that can be used as a “template” for all
pages of the site
- Current events & announcements must be listed on the home page with the ability to “pop” items of importance or special interest with attention for site visitors
- The incorporation of photographs of the county and events in the site
- All county forms posted and available for download and/or fill and auto submit
- Be intuitive for residents and users to navigate
- Improve service and transparency
- Utilize standardized website features while maintaining a unique and consistent look
- Be easy to maintain with internal staff, but with support for more complex items
- Allow for expansion to accommodate future technologies
- Easy to find on the internet and user friendly to mobile devices
- Integration of video, audio and social media
- Detailed analytics reporting
- Fully functional, both viewing and editing, with major browsers and operating systems on PC and Mac
- Ability to take online payments via third party services such as GovPay, etc.
- Private Staff Portal to access County Policies and other documents.
- Utilization of tools such as chat bots for better communication
- Create a highly useable website design and organized in a dynamic manner, allowing users to easily find information, flexible to change design options as needed
- Combine both elected and non-elected entities under a common umbrella

- Consolidate and migrate existing content to new website
- Incorporate various specific needs of each department into the overall design,

- Integration of Google Apps system, which we currently use for internal email and calendar services
- Online services that allow visitors to quickly fill out and email forms directly to the appropriate office,
- Analytics tracking must be integrated on the site to allow for website visitor tracking, page
tracking, etc.
- This site should provide for search engine optimization and site search functionality to allow the highest possible ranking of the individual pages within the site and from all major search providers, including, but not limited to, Google, MSN, Yahoo and Bing.
