[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide web design services using WordPress.
• Design the look and feel of the new university website:
- Overall we will have 8-10 wireframes for the various page templates.:
- The wireframes for the various page templates have been created but need to be completed and enhanced. We need a partner to take our current wireframes and look for opportunities to enhance and strengthen them. The current wireframes were created in Figma. We no longer have a UI/UX Designer to complete this work.
- We currently have wireframes for these page templates: Department homepage, program page (child page of the academic dept site), General department homepage, Landing page for resource-focused content (About, Faculty and Staff, Current Students), Landing page for marketing-focused content (Admissions, Student Experience, Research, Community Impact).
ii. The wireframes must include mobile wireframes, which may require annotations denoting what goes away or what expands, etc.
iii. We do not have a wireframe for the university homepage. This wireframe must be created.
iv. Design should incorporate all navigation elements.
- Wireframes must then be turned into designs that our team of developers will build in WordPress. All needed assets should be provided so that our developers can complete the conversion from design to webpage.
- Designs should be compelling and should utilize the updated university brand colors, elements, and font.
- Provide designing services whereas there is mobile-first and accessibility in mind for the site’s look and feel. Additionally, it should not complicate the prior work regarding information architecture and pre-designed templates. The expectation is the design work will be a collaboration between the selected partner and the marketing and communications team. The department has already conducted numerous stakeholder interviews and user testing, surveys, etc, as stated in the Background and Information section.
- The wireframes and designs should follow national best practices for public higher education websites and be designed with a mobile and accessibility first mindset.
- The expectation is the design work will be a collaboration between the selected partner and the Communications and Marketing office, with our Web team providing the partner with needed background information, insight, feedback, discovery findings, etc. We currently do not have a UI/UX Designer to complete this design work.
- The designs must follow and support the university branding guidelines which will be provided to the supplier.
- The wireframes and designs should continue to incorporate reusable components and patterns (news section, student testimonial, cards with text, etc)
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 28, 2023.
(3) The contract period will be for one year.
