• Develop a new website to enhance the customer experience when looking for public transport information.
• The customer focused design and layout will be scalable and device agnostic.
• Provide a single point of truth as the website will integrate with external systems.
• Provide customers with the right information and the best solution for their situation, in a timely manner.
- The website should integrate with analytics tools to track visitor statistics, user behaviour, and other relevant metrics for monitoring and optimization.
- Where feasible customer feedback should be sought on website design, functionality and transport service provided (survey, customer service, complaints)
- Use geo-targeting techniques to customise the content of the website – e.g., highlight the most relevant bus routes based off the customer’s location.
- Integrate with ticketing systems for improved customer experience
- On page search engine optimisation (SEO)
- UI for mobile devices should be intuitive and provide similar experience and functionality as desk-based devices
- Mobile capability/responsive design and device agnostic
- Compliance: Meet accessibility standards and guidelines
- Accessibility: The website should be designed to accommodate users with disabilities, adhering to accessibility guidelines and standards.
- Multilingual support: The website could support multiple languages to cater to a diverse user base.
- Cross-browser compatibility: The website should function correctly across modern web browsers, such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
