[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide website development service using content management system must be compatible with browser and SEO.
• Utilize our existing branding (i.e., colors, fonts, logos, and brand photography will be provided)
• Integrate with social media feeds from platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram
• Able to embed external media, such as, but not limited to, YouTube videos
• Display tables that can be easily updated (either manually or automatically) and have the ability to include hyperlinks to other areas of our website or external sites
• Be user-friendly for both the target audiences and for communications staff who are making updates (i.e., staff should not need knowledge of HTML, CSS, or Javascript to make changes to the site)
• Able to embed interactive reports generated from data analytics engine such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau
• Contain a blog or news page for timely content updates
• Merge the “For Adults” and “For Children/Youth” sections
• Support page builder function within the site that makes it easy for staff to add pages and layout various content without requiring knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, or HTML.
• Support integration with email marketing systems such as Constant Contact, MailChimp, etc.
• Support the ability to in the future add a chat function that would connect visitors directly with our staff
• Support the ability to in the future add a e-learning course portal
• Support ability to tag content and search by specified tags
• Support bot detection functionality
• Be hosted within a Canadian data centre
• Support real-time monitoring and notification for website statuses
• Comply with Website Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1 AA level compliance)
• Functions optimally across all types of devices, browsers, and screens Maintain any other major functions of the current site not listed here
