(1) Vendor needs to provide regional identity and website redevelopment services.
- Regional brand (identity development and application):
• Provide a genuine shift of approach away from tourism destination marketing to positioning for investment, business and innovation opportunities
• Ignite local storytelling and build ambassadorship among our local audience to help tell the story.
• Meaningfully integrate the stories of mana whenua, to provide for a cultural narrative and understanding of our identity that reflects the true bi-cultural nature of our region
• Offer a pathway to creative execution that ensures our region is competitive, on the map and getting noticed by our key interest audiences
• Be an identity and brand framework that helps guide our wider economic development strategy and play a role in establishing the vocabulary and narrative to support economic development
- Website redevelopment and content creation:
- The current website was created in 2017 within the constraints of a small budget and short timeframe, resulting in a website that “did the job” but was never designed as the “go to resource”
- The website development is a significant deliverable within the wider regional identity and brand project.
(2) All questions had been submitted no later than June 2, 2022.
