[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide web design and development Contractor (Web Contractor) to support a user needs assessment of Cal-Adapt visualizations and tools.
- Web Contractor will conduct a user needs assessment and develop recommendations for future updates, web design, and development
- Cal-Adapt Visualizations and Tools, a State-funded web resource that provides public access to peer-reviewed climate data through visualizations, and tools to support climate adaptation and resilience decision-making across
- web platform for accessing high-quality, peer reviewed downscaled climate data and projections.
- web-application include energy sector stakeholders, infrastructure managers, municipal planners, community-based organizations, state agencies, scientists and climate experts, educators, and interested participants from the general public.
- Tools that allow for visualization or identification of regional and local impacts across the state and that integrate best-available data on vulnerable populations and infrastructure
- Heuristic analysis and usability audits for the current Cal-Adapt web-application and the Adaptation Clearinghouse
- Additional web analytics and user behavior analysis using Google Analytics, Hotjar, and/or equivalent services or platforms as needed, for the current Cal Adapt web-application and the Adaptation Clearinghouse.
(2) A pre-proposal meeting will be held on June 21, 2022.
(3) All questions must be submitted no later than June 22, 2022.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
