Non-profit Foundation (Organization) located in New York; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for website technical support and production services using WordPress CMS.

[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals

[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide website technical support and production services using WordPress content management system
- Maintain basic website health and security on both sites. Monthly maintenance should include but is not limited to: site backups, CMS platform and plugin updates, security protection and updates, device testing,
- Site was migrated from the Drupal 7 platform to Wordpress. The user experience was evaluated and updated. The Pure Catskills website is membership-based allowing businesses to purchase their membership, upload ads, access their member profile, and makes changes as needed which is all tied to our annual printed publication
- The in-house team is trained in using Wordpress to change text and photos on the sites, create pages, events and upload documents. A system of review by the web services consultant insures that the integrity of the graphic design and website mechanics, as well as proper placement of files on the websites is maintained
- The team communicates weekly by zoom and meets occasionally for training, strategy, and brainstorming of future website elements.
- To utilize success stories, high-quality photography and videos to tell our story. Streamlining the message of farm and forest landowners who are working the land of the region while protecting water quality is a high priority
- A maintenance retainer that gives a custom package of hours that can be used to improve the website’s design, user experience, content updates, functionality, and to provide staff training is preferred.
- The consultant will ensure that website content structure, linking strategies, and sitemap lead to consistent natural search engine page rankings. The consultant will also manage the organization’s nonprofit Google Ad Grant and provide updates, strategies and analytics on how both sites are performing, and implement improvements and additional AdWords campaigns as necessary.
- Adhere to a monthly work schedule to be mutually agreed upon to address the various tasks include ongoing monthly maintenance to the sites to ensure the integrity of workability, design and navigation. This may incorporate work through programming software including HTML, Javascript, WordPress, etc
- Provide ongoing technical support in training and theme setup in Content Management Software (Wordpress), as needed by the Content Management Team (CMT).
- Provide two technical trainings (such as Wordpress) as needed per contract year.
- Assist with technical coding issues in Constant Contact, as needed.
- Assist with social media tools such as Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter and Pinterest in relation to the websites if needed.
- Interface with the web hosting service when communication is necessary.
- Continue and grow the Google Ad Words Grant campaigns
- Perform on-the-page and off-the-page SEO activities based on current best practices to optimize SERP position
- Content revisions to WordPress site- updating the theme and streamlining the user experience, updating and adding new content with various plug-ins etc.
