Website Redesign and Content Management System:
 - To update website to enhance the user experience, simplify content management, and provide improved citizen-centric information and customer service to its community, while meeting high standards for design quality and visual appeal that our staff can easily manage.
- The new website must be developed with a responsive design that will adjust to all devices.
- Alerts and Notifications - Display alerts prominently on website with notifications sent via email and text messaging to subscribers.
- Sharing Capability - Links to share content via email and social media on every page.
- Website Visitor Profile - Visitors can pick and choose the information that automatically becomes fed to their profile upon site login.
- Ability to collect feedback from visitors.
- Online Forms - Create unlimited customizable forms, track and export results.
- Content Scheduling - Set dates for content to automatically publish and expire.
- Online Payments - Ability to accept secure online transactions.
- Responsive Web Design - Fully mobile responsive design - site adjusts to the screen size of all devices its being view on, includes forms, calendars, etc.
Citizen Request Functionality:
- Requests can be submitted in a variety of ways, including website, native mobile apps for
Android and iOS, over the phone, and social media such as Facebook
- Ability to attach photos to requests
- Requests must have the ability to be geolocated by using the citizen’s reporting device,
extracting metadata from a photo, or by manual adjustment
- Citizens shall be able to choose to receive status updates on their request, which can be
sent automatically via the system
- Citizens shall be able to view their own requests and add further information via comments
to requests if needed
- Citizens can view and follow requests made by others
- Citizens can submit a request or report anonymously
- Citizens can view a map of requests around a specific area
- Citizens should be prompted if a request already exists that could be a duplicate with the
option to follow existing request.
- Open311 compliant API for sharing request data publicly.
- Integrations with ArcGIS, PubWorks, and EnerGov.
- Ability for administrators to update request categories and questions dynamically with immediate changes shown on all platforms (web, mobile, e.g.).
Hosting and Security:
- Cloud-based hosting with 99.9% operational availability.
- Regularly updated and continually monitored server software.
- Revision-controlled software used for scaling, repairs, and/or disaster recovery.
- Administrative internal access limited and protected with secure logins.
