- Fort Valley State University has a small Marketing and Communication and IT team that will support the selected agency in the website redesign. We value the fresh perspectives and professional assistance of external agencies who can extend our in-house efforts, expand our use of effective strategies and tactics, and help us achieve and demonstrate results. We are looking for an agency to:
• Formulate a redesign of the website architecture providing new site hierarchy design
• Recommend strategies for auditing, reorganizing and migrating our current content that will need to be maintained
• Recommend improvements to navigation across the site
• Create a responsive design (mobile, tablet, desktop) that is also ADA compliant
• Align website graphic elements with university’s design standards to help provide consistent branding across mediums
• Bring the site up to current web technical standards, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO), ADA compliant and GDPR compliant.
- Collaborate
• Work closely with our team in all stages and aspects of the redesign
• Assign a dedicated project manager who is responsible for the project and reports to both your agency and FVSU
• Be open and responsive to suggestions from key FVSU stakeholders
• FVSU will provide primary assets including the required brand guidelines
- Design, Develop, Test and Deliver
• Present a timeline detailing distinct phases of the project, including goals for each phase, deadlines for delivery, testing and Q&A, for a targeted launch date (or a series of launch dates for a phased rollout)
• Develop and adhere to a plan of communication between the agency and FVSU
• Deliver a fully tested, flexible, easy-to-maintain, friendly and informative website that allows for future expansion and the integration of new tools, branding components and technologies
• Implement tools for tracking and reports. Analytics will allow us to improve the site in the future
