Vendor needs to provide web hosting and design services.
- The District currently hosts our websites on our own servers housed in our data center on campus under the domain of pcschools.us. The sites currently use WordPress as the content management system, and our teachers use Canvas and Seesaw as a Learning Management System. The District is a Google Apps for Education district. Our Student Information System is PowerSchool and we have LDAP directory servers.
- Scope:
- 1 district website
- 7 school websites (4 elementary, 2 middle, 1 high school)
- 1 password protected employee intranet site
- Minimum Requirements:
- Site Design
o Responsive design that is highly functional on all devices including mobile and tablets
o Simple streamlined home page with our top priorities organized, such as: About, Schools,
Departments, Families, Enroll
o Simple and logical navigation
o Interior pages are well organized and engaging
o Parent/Student page of info
o Condensed district information
o District calendar to include registration and enrollment dates, testing dates, etc. on home
page
o District Departments Landing page and sub areas as needed
o Home page, neighbourhood schools links organized with addresses, links to school sites
o Teacher directory for school sites, with ability to link to Canvas/Seesaw course pages
o Ability to schedule posts and messaging for a future date and time
- Translation ability (Spanish is our primary second language)
- Integration with social media (such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
