[B] Scope of Service:

Vendor needs to provide website redesign services
1. Develop a visually appealing website that will be informative, cohesive and easy to use, up-to date, interactive and accessible to all users.  
2. Be able to grow and expand without needing to plan a costly and time-consuming future redesign.
3. Utilize technologies and tools specifically relevant to the needs and capabilities of a water district web site, for example, self-service options, integrated social media, blogging features, embedded videos, and a robust document storage module.
4. Enable and train non-technical District employees to easily update and manage information on the web site in a timely and efficient manner.
5. Intranet webpage that can be utilized for newsletter, articles, employee resources, etc.
6. Continued tech support
- Plan the Redesign
O Work with Website Committee to plan the redesign of web site.  This includes preparation of a project plan and schedule, project assessments, research, goals and objectives definitions, site navigation, look and feel, content migration, site features and functionality, technologies and tools
- Implement Redesign Plan
O Implement redesign based on a plan agreed upon by.  Implementation includes process and procedures, hardware and software installation, programming, graphic design, visual collateral, and more.
- Quality Assurance and Testing
O Conduct quality assurance and testing on the redesigned web site.  Product must meet, at a minimum, all project requirements (as detailed below) as well as any new requirements agreed upon during the planning of the redesign.
- Launch the new web site.
- On-going maintenance and support
O A discussion of required/recommended ongoing maintenance and support, if any.  Separate out any costs annually and hourly associated with ongoing maintenance and support.
- Documentation  
O Provide user-friendly documentation, training, guidelines and processes.
- Web Content Management:  Non-technical District employees must be able to easily and quickly update and manage content on web site through the following features:
a. Secure, browser-based administration
b. Audit trail/logging (change management)
c. Lifecycle management
d. text editor
e. Content approval process
f. Single-source web publishing
g. Style sheets
h. Spelling and grammar check
i. Content scheduling
j. Unlimited hosted content
k. Ability to upload content larger than 50 megabytes (MG)
