[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide website and brand redesign services using Drupal, Wordpress and Expressionengine content management system must be compatible with social media, mobile, browser and Search engine optimization
- To Redesign for its stakeholders — students, prospective students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, and the public — the brand, website, and collateral must be comprehensive with the ability to communicate and provide information and resources while also highlighting the great work the college does, all with an emphasis on design,
- Design a new visual brand for the College of Environmental Design that can be adopted across all departments and offices college-wide, including secondary program branding,
- Provide a suite of brand style guidelines that can be adapted to digital communications such as, but not limited to templates; emails and newsletters; website; news; social media; banners; graphics; posters; and branded donor and alumni collateral such as stationary, reports, totes, and mugs,
- Create the secondary tier brand logos and mini style guides for each department (Architecture, City and Regional Planning, Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning, Masters of Real Estate Development and Design, Sustainable Environmental Design) and third tier logo-only design for Summer Programs,
- Create a platform for students to easily share and upload work from their portfolios either using a custom built integration or a third party feed, including files such as jpg., png., mov., and pdf,
- The ability to display resources and content types, such as people, news, events, college messages, emergency banners, newsletters, and galleries,
- The ability to filter and visit a departmental-focused section with it’s own navigation,
- Organize and streamline methods at getting resources and information to students from HR, advising, IT, and other units in the college that need to give students access to resources and forms. Possible need for the integration of a form builder,
- Organize, streamline, and promote faculty research, creative accomplishment, and professional development opportunities across the college, including fellowship and travel opportunities; distinguished projects and awards, working and reading groups; participation with our campus presenting organizations; and more,
- The new site will need to consult the campus branding guide, including web page templates, colors, typography, photography, graphic elements, and voice. The college’s digital communications must be in harmony with the campus brand, while continuing to showcase as an innovative and groundbreaking college with its own identity and brand,
- Maximize the ability of nontechnical college staff to publish and update standards-compliant content (text, images, multimedia) throughout the site without coding expertise or outside specialist support. In addition, the ability for the site owner to provide specialized credentials that limit access to only certain parts of the site,
- Ability for faculty, staff, and graduate students to create profiles with various media attached and presented,
- Customizable roles and permissions, and flexible user management tools,
- Customizable workflow, with statuses, approvals, notifications.
- Scheduled publishing, and scheduled removal of content.
- Multiple taxonomies as needed (categories, tags, keywords, departments, etc.),
- Simple GUI interface to modify menus, footer, URLs,
- Robust media handling, including easy upload of multiple file types to date-based folder structure; on-the-fly image resizing; highly flexible placement of media elements throughout site pages; support for galleries, lightboxes, and slideshows,
- Admin dashboard to display at-a-glance stats on CMS content (by status, author, content type, publication date, etc.), plus status of the CMS itself and its components. Also ability to generate reports from CMS, including pages needing review/update (based on date of last revision).
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than November 9, 2020.
