(1) Vendor needs to provide enterprise resource planning finance, human resources, and student solution and services will enable each respective business capability and service offering. The scenarios provide the Respondents the capability detail needed to determine the appropriate software component to propose, describe how the proposed software will be used to enable the capability; and price the configuration and deployment of the proposed Solution. Solution you are proposing, including all required software components and proposed integration within the proposed Solution.
- Be architected in a componentized model, as depicted in Figure 2 (Section, allowing plug and play capabilities of primary functional modules
-Must be architected to allow for easy integration to other ACC and external systems
-Must provide a student portal to allow for various self-service functions commonly used by multi-campus higher education institutions
- Must provide an employee portal to allow for self-service functions commonly used by Human Resource organizations
- Must provide a Vendor portal to all various self-service functions commonly used by leading edge procurement organizations
- Be offered through a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment for all capabilities and functions defined within this solicitation
- Meet the State and Federal requirements for higher education in the State of Texas
- Meet all regulatory and statutory compliance required for community colleges in the State of Texas
- Be built utilizing a SalesForce.com architecture and, at a minimum, utilize SalesForce.com integration tools
- Must provide e-signature capabilities
- Must provide scheduler functionality to allow for employees, faculty, student, and external service providers to request and schedule service appointments commonly used throughout Student Services and Human Resources organizations
- Must provide for, or provide integration to, functionality to afford usage of propose solution for employees/students who are deaf/blind (utilizing a screen reader, such as JAWS or other such functionality)
- Have successfully implemented a cloud/SaaS solution for higher education institutions or government entities comparable in size to ACC as described in Section 1.2 of the solicitation.
- Be a certified implementation partner of the proposed software vendor(s)
- Provide an on-site implementation team and project manager
- Automate business processes across financial, payroll, human resources and student services
- Enhance the faculty, staff, and student experience through a web-based, intuitive, user friendly interface
- Enhance reporting capabilities to enable end users to develop State, Federal and operational reports by granting easy access to information
- Reduce system customization by aligning business processes to leading practice commercial tool capabilities
- Easy and real-time access to data and information for performing analytics and making Enhance and meet security standards
- Enhance self-service capabilities for staff, students and faculty
- Provide functionality with a fully integrated Solution including third party applications.
- comprehensive, sustainable, upgradeable, secure and integrated Human Resources solution to capture, organize and analyse Human Resources data while attracting new employees and developing, engaging, retaining and managing current workforce.
- Allow business processes at ACC (e.g., recruiting, talent acquisition and management, career management, faculty workload management, benefit administration, etc.) to be standardized or processed through automated workflow, routing and approval systems (within a module and across modules within the system).
- Talent Management The functionality to manage staff qualifications, track and manage performance, aid with professional development, and provide training and learning management capabilities.
- The ability to collect, record, and monitor the requirements needed to perform a job. Requirements include, but are not limited to, skills, credentials, certificates, degrees, etc.
- The functionality required to manage activities related to recruiting and on-boarding. The capability includes posting, tracking and managing new employee applications, defining job requirements and qualifications, scheduling interviews, extending job offers, and facilitating the on-boarding process.
- Core Accounting The general ledger (chart of accounts) for holding account information needed to prepare financial statements, including accounts for assets, funds, encumbrance, and project accounting.
